I decided back in June, the way the books were filling up, my crew and I were done playing tetris every morning!!

Back in 2022 I added another carcass cooler, doubling my hanging space, the freezer remained the same though.

I got to work with some of the best people on this!

Den Adel Concrete started us off right and worked their butts off in the miserable heat to get the slab and curb set up!

Heartland Buildings put the shell up in 2 days, contracted a spray foamer, (long process when the rig went down) then finished the interior work in a day and a half!!

Brummel Electric had BOTH the new units wired in at record speeds, added the perfect amount of lights and was EXTREMELY easy to get ahold of and work with. I’d recommend any project to this business!

Lastly Lee Mechanical got the new freezer units up and running, and they work GREAT! Definitely need more than just a sweatshirt in the freezers! 😅

I also can’t forget Nic Dejong over at Bank Iowa for saying “l can’t wait to see how it turns out” every time I call with a new idea or addition! 👏🏼

This addition is exactly what my business needed! 🎉

Concert on the square is tomorrow!! Patties were made fresh this morning, froze just enough to hold shape to package, and they’re heading to the cooler in the food truck!!

Our new freezer gets turned on tomorrow!! This has been a bottleneck for a couple years and was drastically needed!

The main reason I added a dishwasher to my cleanup crew was for these!

Hog days use A LOT of lugs! Most hogs have 2 to 3 different grinds on them, (ground pork, breakfast sausage, brats, patties etc) and it’s a lot to keep track of and separate!!

This week we’re having 3 hog days! We’ve found it’s easier to manage then try to do 20-30 hogs in a day!
