It's Produce Sale Time! We have beets, carrots, cilantro, a variety of lettuce heads, spinach, bok choy, arugula, garlic scapes, and Izzy and Nora are making some scones and coffee cake muffins as well.

8200 W. 71st street, behind the CAA building. Look for the greenhouse on the north side!

SATURDAY, 9am-noon.

Broadmoor Urban Farm is 100% run by students of Shawnee Mission School District. We have produce sales almost every Saturday throughout the summer and into the fall. We also donate 40% of our produce to Urban Produce Push (UPP) which supplies many of the KC area food pantries. As always, we thank you for your support!

Good morning! I know it's Memorial Weekend and we have a crew of 3, but we will harvest to order anything you'd like to purchase. Bok Choy, lettuce heads, arugula, cilantro, spinach and more. We also have starter plants, but our inventory is declining! We will be here 9am-noon, so come on in. Center for Academic Achievement, 8200 w. 71st in O.P.

The farm will take any and all donations in exchange for unloading these starts. They are needing a home, I don’t have it.
Flowers, herbs, tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, squash, cantaloupe and mini cantaloupe.
8am-2pm tomorrow, Wednesday Thursday and yup Friday!

Today’s haul; a couple heads of lettuce, some radishes for the neighbors, asparagus and some spinach. Hopefully we see some more folks next Saturday, y’all are missing out!

Starter plants and produce sale today! We have rhubarb, lettuce heads, arugula, strawberry jam and cookies for sale today at the farm. 8200 w. 71st, back behind the CAA! 9am-noon

Hey Urban Farm Fans, we have some news about this weeks produce sale. It will not be Saturday, our plan is to have the produce sale TOMORROW, Friday October 24th. We will be selling everything from 9am-2pm, and with the icky weather forecasted we are planning to move the sale inside the CAA. We will be right inside the rear entrance to the CAA, so come around back like you would to get to the greenhouse and come on in!
We will have tomatoes of all shapes, colors & sizes
Ditto for peppers
6 varieties of lettuce heads
Carrots
Garlic
Sweet potatoes
Radishes, most are Daikon
Eggplant
Arugula

For Bistro items, we will have Chef Justin’s ham and bean soup, $7/qt as well as vegetable beef stew, $10/qt.

This is more than likely our last produce sale of the season. We have thoroughly enjoyed all the love and support we’ve received from the community.

Produce Sale Tomorrow, Saturday October 18th! 8200 W. 71st in O.P. 9am-noon!

What will we have? For baked goods, we will have Pumpkin coffee cake muffins for $4, Caramel Apple bars, $3 and a few croissants, $4.

From the Broadmoor Bistro, we will have 3 varieties of soups the chefs whipped together. Corn Chowder, $8. Minnesota vegetable rice soup (not vegan) $8 as well as Chef Justin's Butternut Squash soup, $8

From the Farm: Romaine, butter and 3 varieties of salanova lettuce heads

A medly of peppers. Mostly bells, jalapenos, some anaheim chilis, and for the brave of heart, Bulgarian Carrot Chilis

Fresh picked and cut to order: Oregano, Parsley, Swiss Chard and Rhubarb

Come on out and support our Student run program, should be nice weather for a produce sale!

Our high tunnel tomatoes are going cray-cray. We are having our weekly produce sale Saturday, October 11th. 9am to noon, Come on out! 8200 w. 71st in OP. Behind the big building you’ll find us

Produce available:
Carrots, beets, tomatoes (too many varieties), peppers (5 varieties), okra, sweet potatoes (we harvested 850 pounds, fr) 4 varieties of lettuce heads, arugula, daikon radishes, eggplant and garlic. We have Swiss chard and rhubarb to order, as well as oregano and parsley.

Our Broadmoor bistro bakery has made lemon loaves with our own raspberry glaze, as well as granola and pumpkin coffee cake muffins.
Soups? We have a few quarts. 4 of our chicken andouille sausage gumbo, 5 of chef Justin’s butternut squash soup.

We are open 9am-noon, so pop on by for some fresh veggies grown and products whipped together by your Shawnee mission plant & soil and culinary students.

We are back again for another produce sale! 9am-noon, Broadmoor Urban Farm at 8200 W. 71st in OP

Baked goods will include pumpkin coffee cake muffins, carrot cakes (minis) and rice crispy treats.

What are we hawking?
Peppers, 6 varieties
Tomatoes, mostly cherry, some slicers
Beets. We always droppin’ beets
Okra, fresh and fried (thanks Verna!)
Lettuces, by the head
Basil, rhubarb and Swiss chard to order.

Oh yeah, i almost forgot! 850 pounds of sweet potatoes
