It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the passing of Russell Shoultes, peacefully with his family by his side. The years we spent at Maple Tree Gardens were a blessing in disguise to our family, so many hours of blood sweat and tears went into working those fields. Our customers were loyal, caring and were without a doubt one of the most appreciated perks of the job. From the bottoms of our hearts we want to thank all of you, our friends, for all your many years of patronage and for your well wishes for Russ and his family over the past couple years. The lessons learned and the memories made there are ones that will last lifetimes. Thank you for being a part of that.

We here at Maple Tree Gardens are deeply sorry to announce we will not be opening for the 2015 season. We appreciate all of our loyal customers over the past 30 years and we still encourage them to shop local and continue to support family owned farms this summer! Thank you so much for your business, and your trust all these years! Have a safe and happy summer!

We now have LOTS of Honeycrisp Apples available by the pound, along with McIntosh, Cortland, Paula Red and Gala! Peach season is unfortunately over but Pear season has begun! And we have started getting in some Winter Squash! Right now we have Delicatessen, Spaghetti, Acorn, Butternut and Buttercup squash. Also available at our Garden Store and Vestal and Corning Farmers Markets: Cantaloupe, Seedless Concord Grapes, Zucchini, Summer Squash, Slicing Cucumbers, several varieties of hot and mild peppers, fresh dug red and white potatoes, tomatoes and several varieties of onions! We have LOTS of excellent quality canning tomatoes, stop in today or call 687-5917 to pick some up or place an order!

We are unfortunately all done with sweet corn for the year, BUT we have started getting in our first few varieties of apples! Right now we have pecks of Paula Reds, Ginger Golds, and Tideman Mac's, and pecks of Honeycrisp, which are also available by the pound! In a couple short weeks we should have them, and many others as apple season progresses, available by the bushel! We also have LOTS of excellent quality canning tomatoes!!
