We’re leaning hard into bright flavors, beautiful ingredients, and a few dishes we may honestly have trouble keeping in stock. Think hand-torn burrata, heirloom tomatoes, ribbons of culatello, Calabrian heat, fresh herbs, whipped ricotta, pistachio, pesto vinaigrette, and the kind of sandwiches that require extra napkins.

Today we celebrate one of the faces behind Villaggio…Richard.

Some know him as Father Richard.
We know him as the man who somehow manages to critique the music, reorganize the shelves, sample the cheese, and disappear exactly when dishes appear.

Whether he’s upselling (😉), telling stories, offering “constructive feedback,” or pretending he’s not sneaking prosciutto behind the counter, Villaggio wouldn’t quite be the same without him.

So raise a glass (preferably white), and wish this lovable menace a very Buon Compleanno. 🇮🇹🎉

Something special is arriving at Villaggio.

We’re bringing in Culatello, one of Italy’s most prized cured meats, often referred to as the “king of salumi.”

Delicate, buttery, and beautifully balanced, this isn’t your average prosciutto. It’s the kind of ingredient that stops conversations for a second after the first bite.

Cured 30 days under black peppercorns and red wine, and aged one year.

We’ll be featuring it in limited bistro specials, boards, and sandwiches over the coming weeks.

Just in time for the holiday weekend… this week’s hot dog special is here. 🇺🇸🌭

We’re taking an all-beef hot dog and giving it the Villaggio treatment: slow-simmered sausage ragù, melted Cooper Sharp American, banana peppers, all tucked into a buttery brioche roll.

It’s messy, cheesy, a little spicy, and exactly what a long weekend calls for.

With Villaggio growing into our new space, we’re excited to expand not just our market and bistro, but the ways we can gather, celebrate, and feed you.

We are now booking catering and on-site events, from intimate dinners and business lunches to showers, celebrations, private parties, grazing tables, sandwich platters, chef’s selections, and everything in between.

Whether you’re looking for beautifully arranged antipasto & charcuterie, fresh salads, house-made comfort food, sandwiches, Italian-inspired small bites, or a full spread designed around your event, we’d love to help make it special.

And with more space coming soon, we’ll have even more room for the kind of events we’ve been dreaming about: tastings, private dinners, classes, celebrations, and community gatherings.

This is our “launch” catering and events menu, with more to come as we grow into our new space. We’re happy to discuss modifications and accommodate special requests as we’re able.
