Bath County KY Farmers Market Get locally grown produce and handcrafted items, jams, soaps, woodcrafts, jewelry, candles, baked goods.

Outdoor Market opens in May, Indoor Market opens February 8th. Local Farmers and Artisans selling fresh produce, homemade baked goods and homespun crafts. Members of the Bath County Farmers Market have access to a covered Hoop to set up and sell local products. There are large coolers for our Growers available, plus a certified kitchen indoors. There is also the Pavilion Store where our Vendors maintain spaces all year round. The focus on our Market is Community, Children and Nutrition. We are partners with the County Library to widen their scope and add to the education of the Children in and out of the County.

At the Bath County Farmers Market tomorrow October 24 , Fay Pergrem will have Blackberry Jam Cakes, Rum cakes, Angel biscuits , eggs, some canned items. Open from 8:00 - 1:00 or sell out. All of our Seniors that has the Farmers Market Nutritional Senior cards & also the KDD vouchers, please come in & use those . Only 9 more days , then they expire. If we don’t turn those in , we may not get those next year. If you already have used them, please hold onto the card for next year. They will refill them. Hope to see you!!!

Don't you just love that the weather is coming around to its senses again! Our sales have been wonderful and we have all of you to thank for this, plus the Farmers for the wonderful bounty of fresh produce.

This weekend we will be making a change, in that our Farmers will be moved indoors. It's going to be a bit noisy, a little crazy, somewhat crowded, however, it's going to be warm and dry! You'll be comfortable as you stroll through for any fresh produce we may be able to offer. Fridays, our produce will be scarce. Joe Karrick is going to be in the side room between the Market Store and the Extension Office.

He's going to have turnips, sweet potatoes, mustard and turnip greens on Friday. We'll have some squash and eggplant on Saturday, along with baked goods, rum cakes, jam cakes, cookies, zucchini bread.

But HOH HO .... Hang on, we have lots and lots in the store! Lettuce, freeze dried fruit, jewelry, houseplants, quilts, jellies, jams, relishes, soaps, beercheese, eggs, woodworking items, tshirts, muffins, ice cream, local beef, chicken, wooden decor, candles, and so so much more.

Thanksgiving orders filling up fast. I want my regular customers to be able to order what they need for their Thanksgiving desserts. That means stopping by the Pavilion this Saturday to sign up because I’m getting close to having to close the orders for Thanksgiving.

This is the answer to “why didn’t you make _____ this week?” Or “What all do you bake?”
Hmmm - It could be because I make over 100 different items 🙂. The best way to get the items you are craving is to preorder each week by Monday. The items you see that I post on Wednesday are frequently preordered items as well as the favorites that everyone asks for each week. Take a look at the list below (it is not a complete list but the items that are most requested.) Let me know if there is something you would like to preorder for October 23 and 24 or the following week.

Hello Everyone!

We know that The Preston Court Days are on and capturing a lot of attention...BUT! Don't forget that the BATH COUNTY FARMERS MARKET IS NOT MUDDY, SWEATY, HOT OR COLD.

Join us this weekend for FREE Coffee, Fresh cookies, lots of pre-Christmas gifts, great prices, sweet potatoes, homemade relishes, jams, handsewn quilts, handcrafted wooden cutting boards, wooden spoons, house plants, soaps, jams, Autumn candles, and so so much more. Fresh popped corn all day.

We are going to be open today from 9a to 1p, then from 3p to 7p. Tomorrow from 8a to 1p HOOP AND STORE.
