It is a beautiful morning at the Owosso Farmers Market!

The sun is out, the flowers are gorgeous, and Exchange Street is full of local farmers, makers, food vendors, and community booths. Come downtown, walk the market, grab something good to eat, and enjoy a perfect Saturday morning with us.

We’re open today from 9 AM to 1 PM on Exchange Street in Downtown Owosso, right in front of The Armory.

It’s also Kids Day! Stop by the Market Info Booth from 10 AM to 12 PM for our free kids craft activity.

While you’re there, you can also enter in person for a chance to win a hanging flower basket from Wesenberg Produce. We’ll have paper slips available where you can write your guess, name, and phone number.

We also have free copies of The Argus-Press available at the Market Info Booth while supplies last!

VENDOR LIST!! - Tomorrow is looking like a beautiful morning in Downtown Owosso! The forecast calls for blue skies and comfortable spring weather, so shop local, grab something good to eat, and enjoy the market!

It’s also Kids Day! We’ll have a free kids craft activity from 10 AM to 12 PM where kids can decorate their own little summer flags using markers, stencils, stamps, and plenty of color.

We’re also excited to share that Wesenberg Produce will be giving away one of their beautiful hanging flower baskets tomorrow! We’ll post a photo of it in the morning so everyone can see the prize, but entries must be made in person at the market. Stop by the Market Info Booth to enter. We’ll have paper slips where you can write your name, and phone number. We'll draw the winner at noon!

This Saturday is looking like a beautiful market morning! The forecast is calling for sunshine, a high around 68. Basically, a great morning to come downtown, shop local, and enjoy the market!

We’re also excited to have a free Kids Day craft activity this Saturday! Kids will be able to decorate their own little summer flags using markers, stencils, stamps, and plenty of color. It should be a fun, simple activity for kids to enjoy while families shop the market.

Meals just taste better when they start at the market! Fresh veggies from Wesenberg Produce, garlic powder from Happysplace, and dinner is already halfway there. We’re lucky to have so many incredible, long-time vendors who help fill local tables with good food, good flavor, and products made with care.

Good evening, Owosso!

As of 5:00 PM Friday, we are planning to hold the Owosso Farmers Market tomorrow morning from 9 AM to 1 PM on Exchange Street.

We’re keeping a close eye on the forecast, and even over the last couple of hours, things are looking a bit better than they were earlier today. That said, it may still be a cool, damp, breezy market morning, so we encourage everyone to dress for the weather and come prepared.

Our vendors are tough, our shoppers are wonderful, and we’re looking forward to another Saturday downtown.

If anything changes, we’ll post an update here as soon as possible. Otherwise, we’ll see you tomorrow morning at the market!

COTTON CANDY AT THE MARKET!! Even with all the rain, schedule changes, and general craziness yesterday, the kindness of this market community still showed up strong. One of our long-time full-season vendors, Keith and Jeanette Gulick of MC Farms, decided it was time for the Owosso Farmers Market to bring cotton candy to Kids Days and special events!

Keith and Jeanette have made a tradition of donating something helpful to the market each year, and this one is going to make a lot of kids very happy. We are so unbelievably thankful for everything they do for our market and for our community.

MC Farms is based in Bancroft, and you can find them every Saturday in front of the Frontier building with their hand-crafted wood products.

Thank you, Keith and Jeanette. This is exactly the kind of generosity and community spirit that makes the Owosso Farmers Market what it is.

We recognize the irony here.

After weeks of construction blocking Exchange Street, the street was finally fully open again… and of course, that happened on the first Saturday in three years we had a rain delay.

Thank you to our vendors for being flexible, patient, and willing to make the day work. And thank you to the amazing patrons who still came Downtown Owosso to shop local and support the market!

Days like today are a good reminder of why this community is special. Exchange Street is open, and we’re so grateful to everyone who helped us make the most of it! See you next Saturday!
