I am sorry to report that there won't be baked goods this weekend.
There are still some Honeycrisp and McIntosh apples in the orchard for u-pick, but not very many remain. Gala just became ready, so there is a good supply of them in the orchard.
We do have Honeycrisp, McIntosh and Gala at the Stand.

We still have Honeycrisp apples, McIntosh in the Orchard and at the stand. This Thursday the gala will be ready for you pick and ready picked.

There are plenty of Honeycrisp and McIntosh apples ready for u-pick and we are keeping the Stand stocked with bags of apples picked daily.

This weeks Orchard update:
There are very few Zestar apples remaining.
This Thursday 9/3 Honeycrisp and McIntosh will be ready for u-pick and at our Stand.

An update on Friday’s opening. The Zestar Apples will be ready, however there isn't a large crop, due to late frosts in April, apples dropping early and critters eating them. The Zestar's are popular and may be picked out quickly. You can call the office 607 334 3133 regarding availability and we will post an update when the Zestar's are completely picked.
On the brighter side, the McIntosh and Honeycrisp apples are ripening nicely and will be available soon.

We will open for the season on Friday August 28. The apple variety which will be ready for picking is Zestar, a very popular early apple. Following the Zestar's will be Ginger Gold, McIntosh and Honeycrisp. Our Honeycrisp crop is the best we've had in several seasons.

Our page and Chapman's Orchard Web site will be updated as other varieties become available, throughout the season.

PS. This years Pumpkin Patch is our largest yet, with Orange, White, Blue, Pink Pumpkins of many sizes, from small to very large. Pumpkins will be available for u-pick and at our Farm Stand.

We now have semi dwarf apple trees for sale at Chapman’s Orchard. They are primarily immune to disease or disease resistant. The available varieties are on our Chapman’s Orchard webpage
along with a description of each. The two varieties that are not disease resistant are Jonathan and golden delicious. They are included because those two varieties are able to pollinate themselves and any other apple tree. They are therefore an excellent pollinator. If interested, please call us at 607-334-3133.
