Big congrats to our winners of the day. Bella B won the salsa bowl (photographed below with a batch of salsa already in it) and Hailey (the market’s incredible assistant manager) won the salsa contest! However, since she isn’t a vendor, I have decided to also reward our second place salsa contestant, Ge**er Farms Inc.! Honorable mentions to 7 Wonders Farm and Stoney Hedgerow Farm for also receiving lots of votes. It was such a fun morning. Thanks to everyone who came out!

This Saturday at the Oxford Farmers Market, our vendors are bringing the heat! 🔥 Several of our vendors will be making their own homemade salsa for our Salsa Contest, and YOU get to help decide which one takes the crown! 🏆

Tomorrow is market day! 🌽🍅🥒

Join us at the Oxford Farmers Market from 9:00 AM–Noon on Saturday and stock up on the best of the summer harvest. You’ll find sweet corn, vine-ripened tomatoes, melons, potatoes, peppers, cucumbers, zucchini, onions, fresh baked goods, local meats, flowers, honey, and so much more-all grown and made by your local vendors.

It’s the perfect time to enjoy the abundance of the season while supporting local farmers and makers.

🌶️ Don’t forget! Next Saturday, August 8, we’ll be hosting our Salsa Showdown! Come sample a variety of fresh, locally made salsas and vote for your favorite. It’s a fun event you won’t want to miss!
