✨ Happy New Year from Sapp’s Kitchen! ✨
Who else kicked off the year with black-eyed peas? Ours were hands down the best yet slow-simmered with Conecuh sausage, Cajun seasoning, and served over rice. So good yall!
The holidays were full of good food and even better memories. We cooked up a roasted leg of lamb, spatchcock chicken, and Turkish borek (minced meat pie). Christmas morning started with a cozy simmer pot filling the house, followed by roasted pears topped with feta, raisins, and pecans. And of course, fresh homemade bread, one classic loaf and one loaded with Gouda and rosemary.
Grateful for full tables, homemade meals, and stepping into a new year well-fed and thankful. 🖤🍽️
