Spiffy Coins

Spiffy Coins Cleaning of Coins that are dirty and corroded from fountains, wishing wells, or ponds...ect. WISHING for an easy way to CASH that change in? We hope this helps!

Wet, dirty and corroded coins from a fountain, wishing well, pond, etc. aren’t accepted at banks or even the coin counter service at your local grocery store. It’s even worse if your coins require cleaning, being mixed with foreign currency or debris such as pebbles, dirt, toothpicks, and chewing gum. Most banks require that coins be free of debris, clean, dry, rolled, and counted. Actually, some

banks also charge a fee if your coin rolls are over a certain amount. Spiffy Coins will process your nasty and corroded coins in any condition and send you a check. Use those dirty dollars for donations to charity, improvements to the fountain or make some of those wishes come true. A check of the coins’ bankable value (minus our fee which is 20% of the bankable total) is sent certified mail to you or other party of your choosing. Charities, Shopping Malls and Theme Parks trust Spiffy Coins for PRECISE service. A printout is supplied itemizing EVERY coin denomination and count. This process is involved and resource intensive. The service is priced at 20% of the bankable total and takes approx. 2 weeks after we receive the coins.

*HOW TO SHIP*

How to ship your coins is entirely up to you of course, but coins are heavy, potentially expensive to ship, and boxes of jingly coins may be tempting targets for thieves along the way. So, you might consider the following recommendations:

•Go to the USPS, and pick up your first batch of free flat-rate priority mail boxes. It's better to get the first ones in-person because if you try to order them online, they might take a long time to arrive.

•Pack each box with up to 70lbs of coins. Fill any empty space so the coins can’t move around and jingle.

•Tape all box edges. Don’t expect glue that comes on the box to hold back the heavy weight of your coins. We’ve seen the box flaps open on their own even with empty boxes. If the box bursts open, coins will spill everywhere making quite a mess and who knows what will happen to all those dirty pennies strewn about.

•Go online and order shipment by USPS flat-rate priority mail.

•Make use of the free USPS tracking. Be sure to get a tracking number.

•Insure each box in your shipment for around $100 (assuming your coins are mostly pennies which is most often the case for wishing wells, etc.). A penny weighs 2.500g, or only ~0.0055lb. So, 70lb would be 12,700 pennies with a face value of $127. If your coins contain a lot of nickels, dimes, quarters, etc., you might want to bump up the insurance to match their value.

•Schedule a free package pickup. This will save you time, money, and hassle.

•Send us the tracking number. While online, also have the USPS send your next batch of free flat-rate priority mail boxes to your address.
