For those of you who aren't aware, Pahoa Cash and Carry closed in 2013 after being in business for over 75 years. It was and still is one of the most historic places in Pahoa. The Hara's started it in the plantation days and continued running it through the years. For many years it was the only supermarket in Pahoa. Then came Long's and then Malama and that was the end of our mom and pop store, Pahoa Cash and Carry
