Palisade Chamber of Commerce Peach Days Ag Tour 2026. We had a wonderful few moments yesterday to share some thoughts about being a small peach business in Palisade. We got to visit with many local officials and meet some new ones. It was important for me to share the peachy part of growing this beautiful Palisade fruit but to also share how hard it is getting to jump through the never changing red tape, rules, regulations and politics that plagues the large and small farmers of the western slope. At the end of each year, like so many farmers, we choose to push on and push through. It is vital to retain the small mom and pop operations in our state and not allow the small farms be sold and lost to blanket rules that put small farms out of business. We are Palisade strong and most of us will look out for each other. Both, incoming new farmers and the generational farmers will have to continue to look out for each other as we all navigate new times and new challenges. Yes, passionate about our state, county and town. 🍑🍑❤️❤️. THANK YOU Kathy Martin Gilbert AT THE MILKY WAY COFFEE SHOP IN PALISADE for the very yummy peach pastries. We enjoyed them!

Thanks to everyone who has come out to our beautiful, low key fruitstand at the farm! We always strive to give a fair deal on a tasty peach. Everyone knows the peach salsa is a hit as well as our locally made jams. We are getting thinner on peaches as the weeks go by. We will have a few more weeks hopefully. With that being said, there are some days we are sold out but please check back as we continue to harvest our late peaches! 🍑
