🌿✨ In honor of , we’re excited to shine the spotlight on Calbucha Kombucha! 🫧💚

Founded by the incredible Fei Wade and lovingly run alongside her mom, Violet, Calbucha is so much more than amazing kombucha—it’s a true community staple.

Fei wears many hats as the Director of Grant Management for the Palm Springs Cultural Center, while also pouring her heart into Calbucha. Together, she and Violet are passionate advocates for nutrition, education, and building a stronger community. Whether they’re teaching kids, helping us spread the word about the market, or supporting local events, they’re always the first to show up with a smile.

And if you’ve ever visited our market, chances are you’ve been welcomed by Violet’s warm smile and offered one of their refreshing kombucha slushy samples! 🥤

🌱 In honor of , we’d love for you to meet one of the incredible faces behind our market—Miriam, owner of Copper Dog Farms! 💚

Based right here in Palm Springs, Miriam grows vibrant, nutrient-packed microgreens and creates delicious superfood power bars that fuel our community. But her impact goes far beyond the products she brings each Saturday. She also shares her knowledge through educational classes for seniors, children, and community members, helping people discover the power of fresh, local food.

If you’ve ever been at the market before sunrise, you’ve probably seen Miriam’s contagious smile. She’s always bright-eyed and bushy-tailed—even at 6:00 a.m. when my coffee hasn’t kicked in and I’m still trying to become a functional human. 😂

Behind every great Farmers Market operator is an incredible crew of managers, staff, and volunteers. ❤️ Markets simply wouldn’t happen without them.

There are countless hours spent building relationships, trust, respect, and love within our market community. We work hard to create a welcoming space where people from all walks of life can gather, support one another, discover fresh food, artisan goods, and handmade crafts, and know we’re doing everything we can to strengthen our community.

National Farmers Market Week is August 2–8, and we’re excited to celebrate! But to us, it’s so much more than one week. Every week is Farmers Market Week. Our farmers don’t get weekends off. They don’t get a season off. They work year-round to grow the food that nourishes our communities, and we’re proud to support them every step of the way.

This week—and every week—shop local, support small businesses, and show your favorite vendors some love. Tag us in your posts, tag your farmer, tag your favorite vendor, and help us spread the word. When you support them, you’re investing in your own community.
