I’m not sure the world is ready for her but a mu*****ns laying chicken might be in the near future. No more expensive trips to pick up hardware, simply go to the backyard coop and gather the ammo.

I made this video a year ago. About a week later our full-time Livestock manager started working at our farm. I’m so grateful for his help and that I don’t have to fill up Jugs in the morning. He handles the chores and I can focus on the farmers market shop and all the other things that it takes to run our little farmers market and Farm. Our Milk supply will be going back up to normal in just a few weeks here! Thank you for everyone who has been patient with us this fall as we wait for new babies to arrive and give our Mama’s the maternity leave that they deserve. We do still have walk-in milk, but it is limited for a few more weeks. We still have all of our other amazing products as well so feel free to come out and shop the farm! Don’t miss out on our holiday open house happening this Saturday after Thanksgiving with extended hours from 10 AM to 2 PM and 10% off the farmers market. It is the one time a year that we do a discount to treat our customer customers at the beginning of the holiday season ❤️

You can find our farmers market store near Lincoln Nebraska or online at thelittleredfarm.com. Raw milk is legal to sell in Nebraska as long as you pick it up at the farm. Our farmers market store has been open for over seven years and we sell a A2A2 grass fed raw milk as well as items from 15 other small farms and businesses # # # # #

Just a little glimpse into life with cows. Not all cows are snuggly, but almost every cow will burp in your face if given the chance lol I wish I had gotten a better video of it, but she definitely kept burping in my face every time she put her nose up. She’s not a shy cow but all of a sudden she wasn’t real sure about the camera lol just a typical night around cows at The Little Red Farm. I have to say I absolutely love these little feathered friends. Chickens are such quirky little creatures and I definitely relate to them in so many ways. I’ve kept chickens for over a decade and they’re a little antics always brings me joy. I call them my Living lawn ornaments! the Internet likes to make you think every little thing is going to kill you. Quite frankly, the lettuce and the peppers at the store lately have been more dangerous to consume than raw milk, but I digress. As long as your raw milk smell smells cheesy or tar and tangy that’s just the natural fermentation and aging process. If it smells rotten or rancid or has weird colors in it then it’s bad. Definitely use your common sense and if you don’t feel comfortable using it, go ahead and make some water with it and put it on your plants as a fantastic fertilizer. Comment and let me know what you’d like to do with your aged raw milk!

I know Mondays can definitely be the worst day of the week, but somehow the farmers market it makes it all better! Our retired customers like to hang out and drink coffee and there’s always something fun to chat about with the staff. Mondays are definitely a hangout day in the shop and I’m here for it!
