We are sooooo excited to catch Hard Pressed at this upcoming market!

HARD PRESSED is an Old-time stringband, Americana-Folkgrass group from Paonia, CO featuring: CORY OBERT (fiddle, tenor guitar, vocals), his wife ANDREA LECOS (clawhammer banjo, guitar, vocals) and JEFF REYNOLDS (upright bass), and special guest, TREVOR STORM (mandolin, guitar).

For 20yrs, HARD PRESSED has been performing both original & traditional songs / tunes (with a few covers sprinkled in), delivered with rich, heartfelt vocal harmonies. For 11 years, Cory performed and recorded with the Paonia-based band SWEET SUNNY SOUTH, performing nationally. Andrea, when living in Durango, sang and recorded with Sand Sheff, songwriter Benny Galloway, and others in the rich music scene. There, at a music festival, Cory and his fiddle met Andrea and her banjo... soon a marriage, and a band, was born! Taking their music “off the front porch to you”, Hard Pressed may be found playing in regional venues, festivals, dances, or maybe on a street corner, whenever they find the opportunity. Drop in a coin, be entertained, and maybe they won’t be so “hard-pressed” after a while!

They have (2) recordings available at: https://hardpressed1.bandcamp.com

*NEW VENDOR HIGHLIGHT*
folk at the ARBOL FARMERS MARKET, EVERY TUESDAY 🌱💚🐄

cow folk is a smash burger pop-up centered around local, organic, grass-fed and grass-finished beef from our family cattle operation, sunshine beef.

we’re a two person crew- mother and daughter- rooted in the idea of simple food, done well. we offer one burger, and one burger only — thoughtfully made with high-quality ingredients and deep respect for where our food comes from.

a few notes before you order: we’re cash only, and we’re unable to accommodate modifications to the burger.
we appreciate your understanding.

see you tuesday!
