As a State of Utah Custom-Exempt Meat Processing Facility, D9 Custom Cuts - aka D9 Meats - undergoes several inspections each year. Today, our Weights & Measurements Inspector showed up to test the accuracy of our weight scale rail. He puts 50-lb weights on the hanging tree up to 500 lbs. Then he checks the weight scale readout. To be in compliance, the weight must be within .5 of 500 pounds to be in compliance. Yeah! We passed and are now certified for another year!
