Update: Seen orthopedic doctor yesterday and wanted to update everyone. The fractures are in line and he does not feel surgery is necessary. He gave me restrictions for driving as well as lifting. He did say these fractures usually take at least 8 weeks to heal properly. I love my customers and I love deer season since 2003. If you’ve harvested a deer, please wrap it tightly and freeze it. As soon as I can I am gonna start processing. It may be slow going as I do not have any help but I gotta try.

Update: I remain in the hospital and await my orthopedic doctor appt on Monday. I’m sure he will be putting lifting restrictions and driving restrictions on me. However, I am going to try and come in midweek to check in and receive deer. I am working feverishly with physical and occupational therapy to strengthen and heal. I love deer season and all my customer and I may need your assistance with lifting and placing the deer in the cooler. I know it’s going to be difficult but I cannot not try to tackle my 23rd year on my own. Fiesty appreciates and loves all her customers and misses processing dearly
