Good morning! As many of you know, my mother-in-law, Max Sutton passed away two weeks ago after a lengthy battle with several terminal ailments. She was my farm stand buddy - always excited to wheel and deal with other vendors. 😆
Humble HouseWife wanted to be a part of the opening day celebrations last week, but we will be taking the month of May off to settle her estate. We are still available for private orders, just send us a message!

Special orders? No problem! We had a customer ask about an "extra crispy" exterior crust loaf.. almost burnt, yet still soft and chewy on the inside. Oooohhhh, and sliced? Sure!
Man, it sure smells good.

Happy Saturday, everyone! There have been several times I've gone to post and then quickly abandoned it.... never really knowing what to say. It's been quite a rollercoaster ride the past 6 months, but we're still kicking right along!

I ran into a customer at the store a few days ago, coincidentally following an internal debate on continuing this particular creative outlet. She inadvertently helped to remind me of all the reasons I began making sourdough in the first place. Not only do I enjoy the process, but it's so much healthier for us than traditional store bought bread. Planning, making and baking brought me so much joy last year... and honestly attending the markets and seeing new and familiar faces was amazing. I want to thank each and every one of you for supporting me in this endeavor
