π **20 YEARS OF THE PASS MARKET!** π
What an extraordinary accomplishment for Pass Christian and our entire community.
The Pass Market was established just one year after Hurricane Katrina, at a time when our community was rebuilding, recovering, and looking toward the future. Twenty years later, it has become far more than a Saturday market β it has become a **Pass Christian tradition.**
Week after week, The Pass Market has provided local farmers, artists, craftsmen, bakers, entrepreneurs, and small businesses with a place to showcase their talents and products while giving neighbors and visitors a wonderful reason to gather together.
From locally made arts and crafts, woodworking and bakers to family activities and countless Saturday morning conversations between friends and neighbors, the market has helped strengthen the sense of **community that makes Pass Christian such a special place.**
Perhaps its greatest accomplishment isn't something that can be measured in dollars or attendance numbers. It is the thousands of friendships, conversations, introductions, memories, and connections that have taken place there over the past two decades.
**Twenty years. Hundreds of vendors. Thousands of Saturday mornings and countless memories.**
Congratulations to everyone who had the vision to create The Pass Market after Katrina β and to the organizers, volunteers, vendors, residents, and visitors who have kept it thriving for two decades.
Hereβs to the next 20 years! π₯
π **Congratulations, The Pass Market β you have truly become part of the fabric of Pass Christian.**
