Though I have been super busy getting my full time career up and running, I am still operating and baking bread! It’s like riding a bicycle!! 2 pound loaf of honey wheat going out to a customer today!!

I’ve got whole wheat baking today for tomorrow morning drop off at Back to Basics! There will also be 3 of those up for grabs.

My loaves are nearly 2 pounds each!

If you’ve ever bought our bread & you were disappointed that it was moldy after 5-7 days, well that’s because it is REAL food. Real food gets moldy & gets moldy fast.

I have a friend who teaches Biology. She shared this with me tonight.

She's been trying to grow mold since Nov 24th for a lab experience in class next week.

That's our wheat bread with that beautiful mold!! Check out those other 2 bread slices. She said the Pepperidge farm feels like it just came out the oven and neither of them show one speck of mold!! 😱👀 Take note that Pepperidge farm is a grain/wheat bread, "the one they advertise as healthier."

Yall, it's almost 2 months. The level of perservatives/chemicals in that stuff is scary!! Real food molds.

We Stand with Our Community, Not Exploitation

As local business owners and, more importantly, as parents, we feel it is our responsibility to speak out. Recently, the Payson Roundup chose to exploit the tragic death of a child on their front page, using an extremely graphic and inappropriate photo. This decision was not only deeply insensitive but goes against the values we hold dear.

Our community has always come together in times of tragedy to support one another with compassion and respect. We rally to lift each other up—not to exploit pain for shock value or financial gain.

We do not condone sensationalism at the expense of a grieving family’s pain. For this reason, we are disassociating with the Payson Roundup. We refuse to support any platform that prioritizes profit over the emotional well-being of our neighbors, especially when it comes to our children.

We stand firm in our commitment to protect and nurture the children and families in our community. Their stories deserve respect, dignity, and care—not exploitation.

We encourage others who share our values to join us in sending a clear message: our community is stronger than this, and we expect better. We encourage you to spend your advertising dollars elsewhere, don’t buy their prints, to block the Payson Roundup on social media and not give them views.

With that being said, please do not participate in the best of the rim on our behalf, an advertising campaign that is put on by this paper. We do not want any association with that newspaper at all. We know who we are, and we thank our loyal clients for your votes thus far. They are no longer needed.
