Kinda chic to...

You, me, and Matcha ♻️

I will be spending every morning, over the next seven days, sharing my experience. As always, I will be transparent about my experience and will NEVER encourage you to shop from Amazon!

After my initial experience with Poda 🐛, this invention seems to be a M A S T E R P I E C E for all the Matcha Lattee beebees 🐝 and especially, a new item to add to our Grocery Market & Online Shop (yes, y'all need to learn we have an ONLINE shop of our Homegrown Apothecary).

S I D E B A R : We will be slowly ☆ but surely ☆ adding more tested, tried, and true products that you can find being sold & served in our Farm-to-Table Retreat Center AND Bed & Breakfast.

🍵 I have oodles of additional thoughts but will wait until day seven to finalize a review.

🆘️ Emergency Update 🆘️

Our brand new puppy 🐶 , Lady Slipper, fell 12 feet through the basement hatch, bumped into the shiplap🪜ladder on the way down, and hit the concrete basement floor.

🙏🏽 Please be patient 🙏🏽
Email & Socials & Messages are NOT my priority at this time!

Little Lady is now on strict sedated bed rest for the next 8 days - in hopes that she will be able to walk by then. She is too young and underweight for surgery.

Lady could really use y'alls healing energy, thoughts, Reiki, and in-person enrichment visits from smiling faces 💖 (she is already bored bored bored - and it's only been 2 hours).

I shall respond to emails 📧 and messages once my undivided attention and energy isn't needed 24/7 for our sweet babygirl.

Friends, please 🙏🏽 call if you want to visit! I won't be checking socials, emails, or messages while caring for Lady.

We've been keeping a secret...

🌸 Meet Lady Slipper
aka the Melon 🍉 Monster

&&& The newest member of the McCulloch Kent Household!

Lady Slipper found us on the brink of death. The first half of her week was spent in the Animal Hospital, but the second half has been spent living as a puppy deserves to!

Our little warrior is severely malnourished and underweight, full of infections and tapeworms, but finally eating and drinking h20! Healing this curious creature will continue but we are grateful to shower her with love.

Andrew and I weren't ready to adopt at first, but Loki's deep depression (after Leia's death) helped us move forward; to bring Loki a new sister. It doesn't hurt that Lady Slipper 🌸 looks like Princess Leia as a pup.

When you come to the farm, expect Lady to snuggle your neck and provide endless puppy kisses!

☀️ Spending time with you and your children this past week has healed my soul to the core. From a farm to table dinner at to visiting , thank you for carving time out of your engaged lives to connect! It truly is so special connecting with friends who knew you as kids ❤️‍🔥

Y'all have the most curious, fearless, interactive, well-mannered, and adventurous kids. Talk about shining examples of the next generation of 🌎 Earth warriors...

Thornberry fam; Mahalo for the homegrown Hawaiian herbs, goodies, and Native Hawaiian Plant book! Diving into this book today has been a gift! Safest travels back to the Motherland 🌊. Until next Summer 😭

P.s.s. If anyone is looking for grass-roots programs to donate to, please consider ! Kelsey runs a 🥕 Farm School in Hawaii, along with an outreach program! It has been inspiring watching their crew give back to the people, especially during natural disasters that hit the islands 🌺.

🥭 Guess who's a Paw Paw forest orchard?!

🐾 Our dearly departed, Princess Leia's pawprint RIP babygirl

🌺 Lady Slipper was my grandmother Dixie's favorite Orchid & mine (She had a greenhouse of over 1200 orchids, was an American Orchid Society Judge and the President)

🍊 We are a Persimmon Forest Orchard & the name of our cat who showed up on the day we viewed the home. After Bubba and Luna died last year, Andrew said our next cat 🐈 would show up at the future forest home (it's about speaking dreams into existence, people)

🪻Wild Indigo was the first medicinal herb to greet us when pulling into the driveway of what would become & IS NOW our forever home (I'm also an Herbalist and Herb Farmer, hence our Farm Name)

🦇 The Bat resembles our earth home - a bat is sculpted & painted out of the cob strawbale wall (located on the East wall, where Mama🌙 Moon rises)

🌷 Tulip Poplar is our state tree & grows rampid across the 111 acres! I vividly remember asking my father on a camping trip as a child, " Daddy, why do people want to chop down trees when they're this beautiful? "

🍁 Acorns are delicious, all over the farm, and a staple in the 🧚🏼‍♀️ fairy nature sculptures I build

🌰 Chesnut season means making Shibukawa-ni 渋皮煮 aka a warm reminder that Fall has arrived

🐝 We are Bee-Centric Keepers of an Apiary & have Handpainted Beehives

🐸 Frog medicine immediately greeted us our first time here & 🫧 Bubbles, our massive farm mascot Frog Statue greets you after arriving

🍄 My great-grandfather was a forager who taught family hunting for Morels on their forest farm. While I never had the opportunity to forage with him, he instilled an obsession of Morels and mushrooms at an early age

🌱 Ramps are the reminder that Persephone has, once again, come home to bring Spring to the land

🍇 Elderberry is an earth medicine that is potent and packed with healing properties that we LOVE making medicine with

🔥 Summer, the season of stretching ourselves, as the body now craves tangible action.

The daily practice of showing up for ourselves, fully, enables us to have the capacity to show up for others. And our 🌎 needs that. Its become self-centered and dis-connected from what it means to be a villager and in real human relationships that span beyond a keyboard. If we want our world to heal, it begins with stretching our comfortability and what we think is possible.

Sharing the sacredness of and her ability to bring you back to stillness, breath, nature, and making space for what matters most is THE earth medicine.

My heart is full of gratitude 🙏🏽 for each of you that celebrated the Solstice ☀️ 🍊 with us in yoga, sound, commUnity, shared food and libations.

🌲 Join Megan Byler of for a FREE beginner to mid-level Hatha yoga class of movement and Pranayama (breathwork) THIS Saturday June 20th at 11am at .

Please arrive as early as 10:30am to drink homegrown herbal tea 🍵 from our herb farm + Sunergos coffee, set up your sacred yoga space, and frolic around the forest farm. After class, there will be celebratory bites and additional libations.

Prior to class, we will set our intentions for the Summer months ahead and pull a card from Indiana native Herbal Healing Deck - to see what our Herbal Medicine of the Summer ☀️ months shall be!

If you feel called, please 🙏🏽 bring an object to place on the Solstice altar. This can be as simple as an acorn or even a photo.
