Are you ready, Pelham? Because we are! We are so excited to kick off the season today with more vendors than we've ever had on the market plaza and an extra special guest: The Dough Nation Pizza Truck, Chef David di Bari's wood-burning oven on wheels. Also, we've added Ready Set Sharp to our lineup today because we know your kitchen knives and pruning shears could probably use a blade" lift." So make sure you bring your knives, scissors etc. to the market along with your recyclable bags. So many gifts for mom at the market today, including pottery, flowers, soaps and candles - and it's going to be a beautiful day to boot. oh, and let's not forget: baby goats, too! Our new market manger, Kevin Free, is so eager to meet you all. See you soon! We open at 9:30.

Hello Pelham! Your Sunday mornings are about to get sweeter. The Market returns on Sunday, May 10th, just in time to celebrate Mamas everywhere.
We will have plenty of flowers, ceramics and lovely soaps and candles for Mom (and wine from Rosina's Winery), but also everything you need to make sure mom is well fed, starting with the Dough Nation Pizza Truck, cranking out market-inspired pizzas from their yawning 800-degree oven on wheels. Grab one of our picnic blankets at the market tent and enjoy brunch on the grass. So many new vendors joining our lineup this season starting with Letterbox Farm offering fresh (not frozen) pork and free-range chicken, bone broths and quiches made with ingredients from their Hudson Farm. Check out the Penny Lick Ice Cream cart and That Pasta Club - their duck confit cappelletti will make you swoon. Plus, a local Pelham family, the Temes, will be selling their own maple syrup from their property in Vermont. And wait for it...Sugar Shack Creamery is bringing baby goats for you to cradle in your arms. The therapy you didn't know you needed!

Good morning Pelham! We hope you have your shopping lists ready for the market today. We have a very full house of vendors to ensure you have everything you need to make it a "local" Thanksgiving this year. This is always our favorite day of the year because folks are so excited about shopping for the holiday table. But it's also bittersweet, as it is also our last day of the season. It really flew by this year, didn't it? We want to thank you for your loyal support, but also for your extreme generosity in helping us fill the shortfall of federal EBT/SNAP benefits this month. We were able to help so many families in need at the market. But also, with the season ending, we are using the remaining funds, close to $2k, to buy market produce, fruit, breads, honey, pies and proteins to donate to Feeding Westchester. They will be at the market this morning loading up to ensure everyone in our community gets fresh food this holiday week. On behalf of everyone at the Pelham Market, we wish you a healthy, tasty and meaningful Thanksgiving!

Dear Pelham Market shoppers,

Although we don't yet accept SNAP/EBT tokens at our market (we will next season) we feel deeply for the members of our community who rely on these food assistance programs and are about to see them taken away. Just as some of us are starting to plan menus and guest lists for Thanksgiving, others are wondering how they are going to put food on the table come Saturday when the funds go dry. We are asking our Pelham Market shoppers to please donate whatever you can to our SNAP/EBT emergency fund on Sunday. This is how we plan to use your donations: Anyone who comes to the market with a valid EBT card, will automatically receive $20 in market coupons to spend on produce and fresh ingredients at the Pelham Market. We will raise that base amount if your donations allow it. If the EBT funds are restored, we will use whatever leftover funds we've raised to buy market produce for the HOPE COMMUNITY SERVICES food pantry in New Rochelle. Please help us spread the word and give generously on Sunday. We thank you. Community is everything.

Halloween is less than week away and if you want to take your costume out for a spin, we encourage you to wear it to the Pelham Market today where our market manager, Kim, is waiting for you. We've got a monster market today - a full house of vendors AND Milton will be performing. The weather seems to be working with us too...so come stock up on all your favorites and enjoy some PPizza Vitalepizza on the green. Picnic blankets available at the market tent! We're open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. There are only 5 markets left in the season so come soak it all it while you still can!

We've got a full house of vendors at the market AND the weather couldn't be more lovely on this fall day. Come spend part of your day with us and stock up on spirits from Cooper's Daughter. Come stock up before the rain! We are getting ready for you and open at 9:30. Since you're likely to spend the afternoon and tomorrow indoors why not pick up what you need to make this galette https://www.savorysimple.net/apple-cheddar-caramelized-onion-galette/. Or pick up soup fixings: we have everything you need from ham hocks, to squash, kale and sweet potatoes. Pick up the last of the tomatoes and make fresh tomato sauce to freeze. You'll be glad you did come January!
