Fresh veggies, home baked goods, crafts done by local artists. We meet Thursdays from 4-7. We are not open during Tulip Time--- we are supporting this great community in TT at that time. Location-East side of the Pella square on Main Street. New products each week! It is a happy place!

This week's Pella Farmers' Market focuses on the BAKERS at the Market! We do have a wonderful assortment of bakers who show up every week!

Maybe the whole world doesn't know what Koffietijd (coffee time) is, but around here, it's a familiar tradition which provides a lovely time for sipping, munching and conviviality! Pure gezellig!

And it wouldn't be a Dutch Coffee Time without something sweet and flaky, now would it!?

Relatively new to our market, they bring something special for our canine friends. I don't know if you've noticed but furry friends love to stroll through our Market along with their owners - and we welcome them wholeheartedly!

Now they and their owners will have even a more special reason to turn out on Thursday evenings. Just one more family-and-pet friendly perk of our Market!

"Bark’n Fresh began right in our own kitchen, making homemade treats for our dogs—Bear, Bean, Chase, and Remi—and soon we were sharing them with the pups of friends and family. What started with our own pack has grown into a business inspired by our love for animals, with Luna now joining the Bark’n Fresh crew! ❤️🐶

We offer homemade hard and soft dog treats, grain-free options, pupcakes, cookies, pet-care products, pet-conscious candles, wax melts, and more. Our ⭐ Hard Mixed Dozen and 🧁 Pupcakes are two of our biggest fan favorites!

Last night was the perfect evening for celebrating Tomato Fest at Pella Farmers' Market! Undoubtedly, the highlight of the evening was our SALSA SHOWDOWN, which brought out a dozen competitive contestants and lots of happy tasters.

Kudos (and many thanks) to our special judges:

🍅Barb Kniff McCulla: State Representative, Owner and CEO of KLK Construction, Pella
🍅Ted Zylstra: Retired former owner of Tulip City Insurance Agency, Pella
🍅Dr.John Ferrer, PhD: Speaker, educator, researcher, and content creator with Crossexamined.org and current president of Pella Prolife.

Our winners are:
🍅Judges Choice: Austin Burkland with his winning Black Bean & Corn Salsa
🍅People’s Choice: Rusty Bentzinger with his zinger of a salsa with flavor bursts of goodness!

Blake, Myra and Siena have been an outstanding addition to our Market, bringing a refreshing and sumptuous variety of homegrown and handmade items to our event. This is one super-productive family! "We are Three VP’s Farm, a small family farm made up of Myra, Blake, and Siena VerPloeg. That’s where the name Three VP’s comes from - three of us working together to build something we love and share it with our community.

We started our farm journey in 2024, with a dream of growing our own food, raising animals, creating homemade products, and sharing what we produce with our community. What began as a small family adventure has continued to grow, and we’re so excited about where it’s taking us!

Today, you’ll find us at local farmers markets and at our very own farmstand, where we offer a variety of products from our farm. Depending on the season, you’ll find eggs, pork, poultry, fresh seasonal produce, herbs, homemade salsa, jams, syrups, pickles, baked goods, focaccia breads, seasonings, flowers, lard-based products, plants, and more.

And if you ask our customers what they keep coming back for, two of our biggest fan favorites are definitely our homemade salsa and focaccia breads! We’re always working on new flavors and products, but these two have definitely earned a special place with our customers.

We’re so grateful for everyone who supports our little family farm and allows us to keep growing this dream together! ❤️🌱
