Sunday, Sept. 20 from 9am to 1pm we will feature Safety Day at the market! Deputy Hohl and his K9 Shongo 🐾 will be doing a live demonstration at 11 am. Deputy Rutkowski will be on site in addition to the car seat safety check courtesy of the Niagara County Sheriff Department. 🚓We will also have a visit from Wendelville Fire Company 🚒where you will be able to explore the workings of a fire tuck up close. We are looking forward to a great day for the community!

🎃TRUNK-OR-TREAT PARTICIPANTS ARE WANTED! 🚘

The Town of Pendleton Recreation Committee presents Trunk-or-Treat at the Pendleton Community Center during the Pendleton Station Market on Sunday, October 18th from 10a.m.-noon! It will be an AMAZING community event for families and we look forward to the spookiest time together! 🧡

Join us for our upcoming spooktacular event! We’re looking for businesses, organizations, families, and community members to decorate a trunk and hand out treats to our community! 🍬🎃

🏆 IN ADDITION — we will be awarding a prize for the best decorated trunk!

Have you ever wanted to see a K9 in action? Stop by the Pendleton Station Market on Sunday, September 20th at 11am for a live demonstration with Deputy Huhl and Shongo!

Congratulations to Deputy Corey Hohl and K9 Shongo for earning their NYS Narcotic Detection Canine Team Certification! This difficult program authenticates the pair's ability to locate dangerous substances such as fentanyl, methamphetamines, and more. There is no rest for this team, as they are now taking part in their Police Canine Patrol, Tracking and Article Search Certification Course - Fantastic job, and keep up the great work!

Deputy Rutkowski will be attending Safety Day at the market on Sunday, September 20th! We will also have a car seat safety check presented by the Niagara County Sheriff Department!

Congratulations to Deputy Charlene Rutkowski upon her appointment as the Pendleton Community Deputy! This partnership with the Town of Pendleton, NY increases patrol services, traffic safety enforcement, and community services to the residents and visitors of the town.

Deputy Rutkowski has worked various assignments throughout her career, and her diverse law enforcement experience, in conjunction with her passion for the community, makes her a great fit for this assignment. Deputy Rutkowski is a certified Defensive Tactics Instructor, Crisis Negotiator, Peer Support member, and Law Enforcement Instructor. In addition, she volunteers her time at various community events, like the NCSO Trunk-or-Treat, Shop with a Cop, and All-STAR Program instruction.

If you know anyone in the community who would be interested in doing a presentation or demonstration at our Safety Day event, please have them reach out to me! It could be police, fire, health and safety, transportation, anyone who comes to mind. Let's make this another successful event!
