Our tomatoes are in.many heirloom varieties.......Also heirloom squash and eggplant......svcallop squashs zucchini,cocozelle.all ours are pesticide and herbicides free. Not a drop of spray. Also yummy local sweet corn and limited supply of peaches. Plants of assorted ornamentals,lavender, chocolate plate minf,etc.

Spring is here, Hunterdon County! 🚜

As our local farmers head out to the fields, you’ll be seeing more tractors and agricultural equipment on our roads. Commissioner Jeff Kuhl and the Board of Commissioners want to ensure everyone—farmers and motorists alike—gets home safely.

Keep these safety tips in mind:

- Be Patient: Farm equipment moves slowly. Slow down immediately when you see a Slow-Moving Vehicle (SMV) sign.

- Don't Pass on Yellow: It is illegal and dangerous to pass farm equipment over double yellow lines.

- Watch for Signals: Farmers often need to make wide turns. Stay back and watch for hand signals or blinkers.

- Stay Alert: Avoid tailgating and keep your eyes on the road.

The Department of Planning and Land Use is working closely with the Department of Public Safety and the Hunterdon County Board of Agriculture to deploy signage and keep our rural roads safe.
