Good evening all!! I hope everyone is safe and getting more comforts as the days are passing.
I have a VERY IMPORTANT IMMEDIATE request and very IMPORTANT information to pass along to you all. Please share this with everyone and ask others to share as well.

that has gas should have a carbon monoxide detector. Multiple calls are coming into the fire dept for carbon monoxide alarms going off. There were 3 calls in the 5 mins they were in my house. They will come out with a meter detector and check and then have you evacuate the house if levels are detected. I do not believe that it is coming from the generators (as some are thinking) they are not directly IN your home. I however believe that it is from the pressure of the storm on the gas lines. The firemen were sceptical of my opinion about pressure however, they then agreed that that could be a good possibility after the calls starting coming in.
You need to call your gas company and have them come out and check their equipment.
Also anyone that does NOT have a detector YET should get one ASAP and get it set up to make sure your house is NOT carbon monoxide positive. ASAP!!!
