Thanks for our friends at Good Soil Food Hub for working with us, and all the work they are doing to get fresh food into our community.

Springboard Kitchen is a community-focused commercial kitchen and food entrepreneurship space in Peoria’s North Valley. It was created through a collaboration between local partners including St. Paul's Episcopal Church Peoria, IL and Urban Acres to support healthy food access, education, and economic opportunity. The kitchen provides an affordable, licensed space where local food producers and small culinary businesses can prepare, cook, and grow their products without the high barriers that often come with commercial food production.

Springboard Kitchen also offers food education programming, including healthy cooking classes led by dietitians, helping community members build sustainable food skills and improve access to nutritious meals. Through its mission-driven work, Springboard Kitchen aims to strengthen local food systems by empowering entrepreneurs, improving community health, and making healthy, homemade food more accessible in central Illinois.
