Not so fun taking care of the livestock when it’s blizzardy. The ground is scoured bare in some places, but of course it’s a foot deep going out to the 2nd and 3rd coops! And one of the barn cats is meowing pitifully on the front porch!

I’m so excited to take some of these…and turn them into some of these…. I’ve needed to wait until they’ve been laying at least a couple months before trying to hatch some in my new incubator. I think it’s time! But now I need to have a warm location to put it. I’m thinking of a room heater in a small room downstairs. Meanwhile, if you want to try hatching some of your own, I am looking into selling hatching eggs soon! I’ll have Bielefelder and barnyard mix colored egg layers.
