happy 2020! this can definitely be your year if you want it to be. whatever your resolution or goals you set for yourself, don't ever lose sight of the the energy and belief you had in yourself when you set them. life gets hard sometimes and gets in the way of being our best selves, but as long as you believed in yourself at one point you can always recreate those feelings. no one tells you that we have a reset button and can start over whenever we want. maybe it is just a deep breath or looking at an old picture of a loved one or simply going outside and looking at the sky. whenever you are faced with adversity this year, just put your head down and pay the toll and the universe will let you keep going on the road you chose. and if that road doesn't feel like the right one, change the course...we are all at the crossroads, every moment of everyday for the rest of our lives. don't let the stress and negativity block your vision of all the possible routes you can take this year to accomplish your goal.

one fun thing we do each week is put together our snack sacks. too scared to ask what it is? nothing to be scared of here. each week you get 8-12 fresh fruits and veggies and a handful of recipes (if you need some guidance or inspiration) for only $20 a week. you can pick the snack sack up on friday, saturday or sunday.

whether you you are a passionate home cook, an avid juicer or just trying to figure out how to start cooking, try a snack sack and have some fun or tell your friends!

hi friends --

2/2/19...seems like a great time to celebrate our 2 year anniversary. more details and goodies will be coming, but if you can't make it, please accept this announcement as my sincere thanks to all of you. and if you are the hugging type, please stop by because i have a big hug with your name on it.

whether you stopped in to use the restroom, or just say hi, these past 2 years have been a journey and i have been lucky enough to meet some really extraordinary people. some of us call this place home, some of us work here and some of us just like to visit and you all are what makes this community special.

Every week we pack the "snack sacks" with fresh greens, fruits and veggies. Oh and we give you some recipe suggestions in case you haven't had a shish*to pepper before. My dinner tonight was a spinach salad with carrots, green peppers and a watermelon radish and a side of charred shish*to peppers.

growing up i used to love cinnamon brown sugar pop tarts fresh out of the toaster. nowadays i’m a different kind of basic. simple salads are best.
