Free beginner friendly yoga classes at the market!

There will be FREE beginner friendly yoga classes tomorrow, Saturday, October 10th, at Pretzel Park Farmers Market., 4300 Silverwood St in Manayunk (19127).

The first class will be from 10-10:30am, and the second class will be from 10:45-11:15am. Please stop on by and say hi, bring a towel or a mat and wear clothes you are comfortable moving in. See you there! 💓

I also teach weekly classes at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church on Ridge Ave, each Thursday at 6pm for sunset and every Sunday at 7:15am for sunrise. These classes are also always FREE, beginner friendly, and a half hour of sun salutations and meditation. You are always welcome to join us, it's a great way to meet new friends and get some gentle, peaceful movement!

11:30am-2:00pm — The Drum Circle is led by Joe Tayoun, a second generation Lebanese American, an accomplished Middle Eastern percussionist and an educator. He performs with various Middle Eastern and World Music ensembles locally, regionally, and internationally; he just performed in Pretzel Park with Jaffna World Music Ensemble. He also conducts workshops and master classes at schools and universities. In addition, he performs withThe Roddenberries, the house band at the annual Star Trek Convention in Las Vegas. We are nearly at the end of pickling at SHP so stock up on all your favorite veggies while you can. We’ve got pickled: shish*tos; stoplight peperoncini; jalapeños; and nana’s dilly beans. We are super limited on tomato sauces but we will have Tomato Basil Sauce and Roasted Garlic Tomato Sauce.
We do have jams and jellies in stock like Blueberry Lavender, Honeyberry Earl Grey (last of the year), Beach Plum, Betty’s Elderberry Brandy, and NJ Concord Grape. Lastly we’ve got our two different Beach Plum infused vinegars in stock - Beach Plum Red W**e Vinegar and Beach Plum White Balsamic Shrub.
