Our friend/customer Chef Mark Gears has been around the culinary industry for many years. Happy to say he is kicking some serious ass right now at his Small’s Provisions up in Fishtown.

We slid into his shop today to grab a quick lunch. Let’s keep this simple.

The dog was dynamite.
The burger was a classic we had two.(no pic we ate them too fast.)
The cutlet hoagie was crazy.
Italian hoagie was magnifico.
The tuna, long hot special with marinated sun dried tomatoes was freaking insane.

PS — he has salads, and the complimentary Peanut Chew was totally Philly! It is so worth the trip.

Stopped by The International in Kensington last night to say hi to the chefs check out the new menu and grab a drink. They’re firing on all cylinders. 🔥

Downstairs bar was elbow to elbow, so I headed upstairs where the vibe is extra cool. Ended up trying almost the whole menu and everything was on point.

Burger: perfect.
Fries: home run.
Cauliflower: unique and seriously tasty.

The cocktails were just as strong the Vietnam Bar (if you know, you know) and an espresso martini that was absolute perfection. 🍸

Sister spot to Johnny Brenda’s these guys are great customers and Love seeing them crush it.
If you’re in Kensington, it’s a must.
PS I think Timothée Chalamet made my drink.
