The company has roots in Philadelphia's historic Italian Market with a retail location (Gargano's Fruit & Produce) which was started in the 1970's and now we are branching out to offer the quality and value delivered to your business. There are a lot of vendors in this space but I believe we do things a little different than most. We pride ourselves on delivering customer service along with the hi
ghest quality produce. Here are just some of the ways we're different:
- We purchase and deliver daily, personally selecting your items to ensure you are getting the freshest produce possible.
- We also have a large network of suppliers which include importers, various vendors in the regional produce center as well as local farmers (when in season). Supporting local agriculture is very important to us because it highlights the great produce the area has to offer and supports the local economy.
- Our volume purchasing and long standing relationships (40+ years in some cases) with our suppliers allow us to provide competitive pricing.
- With our retail location we have the ability to "break" cases of items for when you cannot use an entire case.
- We offer free delivery.
