Here is our selection for tomorrow! It is only $15 for 70 pounds of produce! Phoenix Advantage is located at 3738 N 16th St. in Phoenix. We will be open from 7-10 am. Please enter at the second driveway on Indianola. If you ordered a box online, you can enter at the first driveway.

It's only $16 ($15 for the produce box and $1 for the processing fee) to reserve a produce box. This means exactly what it sounds like, you order online, bring your receipt, find the designated pick-up line at the market and get your produce right away.

There is a Cutoff time to order is Friday at 1:30pm so we can prepare for Saturday morning. If you miss the deadline to order online NOT TO WORRY, you will also have the OPTION to contribute $15 cash at the parking lot of any P.O.W.W.O.W. market.

Ordering online helps us better understand how much produce to send to each market location. If you know you are going to be shopping Produce On Wheels - With Out Waste this weekend you should definitely consider placing your order online!

Our next distribution will be this Saturday, April 2nd from 7-10am. Phoenix Advantage Charter School is located at 3738 N 16th street! Please take note of 2 important things!

1. Time change- 7-10am. It’s getting a bit hotter so we need to get our volunteers out of the heat.

2. Price change- due to rising costs of gas, the contribution amount has changed to $15. Even with the increase, that is only 21 cents per pound of produce! Still a great value!

This is an important message from Produce on Wheels Without Waste. Please read as it will affect our next distribution on April 2nd.

The Arizona average diesel price as of today is between $5.15 - $5.25 a gallon, an average increase of 27% from November 2021. We are in Nogales, AZ, this is where we rescue the produce that goes to all our P.O.W.W.O.W. program sites. Our tractors travel every weekend an approximate 400 miles to the Phoenix areas and our reefers also use diesel. We can no longer afford the transportation cost for our Arizona Program - Produce on Wheels With-Out Waste. The contribution asked of our supporters for the 70 pounds of fresh produce has been $12 for six years it barely helps us cover our transportation costs, so now we must increase it to $15 effective with our 3/19/2022, P.O.W.W.O.W.s. This amount is still only .21 cents per pound and is a little under the 27% increase of fuel. Also, remember to tell your families and friends that for the last 3 months we have been increasing the distribution poundage to above the 70 pounds; on average 80-90 pounds.

We do not receive Federal or State dollars to help us get this produce to our Arizona families, we need your help! A $100 donation to Borderlands helps to supplement nutritiously an approximate 168 meals also keeping an approximate 35 pounds of bad gas emissions out of our environment. We all need to do our part to curb food waste and help save our planet!
