Here's what's happening today at the Pickerel Farmers Market! There are cookies and bakery, sourdough bread, honey and maple syrup, wild rice, chaga teas and coffee, dog treats, jams and jellies, many pickeld items! Farm fresh eggs, small farm animals and chickens, LOTS of crafts and a little bit of flea market stuff too. Come on over to Red's Country Inn on the corner of Hwy. 55 and DD, we are open from 8-1 today!

Hi Friends! Its Jenn Bittner. Here is a sneak peek at three cookies from my WOWZA Gourmet series. Yes I will have them at the Pickerel Market on the 23rd.
I will be bringing...cake slices, brownies and specialty breads too. I will have a variety of other cookies as well. I'll keep you posted as to the full menu and pricing closer to market open. I do take Zelle and Cash app for payment plus Cash is nice too!

1. Raspberry White Chip. With fresh Raspberry in the dough. injected with Raspberry filling topped with white chocolate gnache and more Raspberry drizzle.

2. Triple Chocolate Fudge with White and Dark Chocolate Chips stuffed with Oreo Cookies.

3. Peanut Butter White Chip injected with Raspberry Jam and finished with a Peanut Butter Chocolate Gnache.

Pre-order a full cake! I am taking Pre-orders for my Layered Carrot Cake, Double Chocolate Cherry and German Chocolate cake. They are 35.00.

Hello everyone! The market will be opening on Saturday, May 23rd of Memorial Day weekend and will be held EVERY OTHER SATURDAY, weather permitting. We'll still be at the same location on the corner of Hwy. 55 and DD in Pickerel. We are looking for vendors with bedding plants, live animals, eggs, and vegetables. The hours are from 8-1. Happy Friday everyone! Just letting you know that tomorrow, 8/30 will be the LAST market of the season! Wow! Summer went by fast! New this week; Wild Blackberry/Wild Raspberry Jelly (Black Razz) and WIld Black Currant Jam as well as Cheese Curds! Also all the usual things from honey, maple syrup, maple sugar, popcorn, wild rice to many different tea blends. Please stop in and stock up!

We've been waiting and watching the forecast for tomorrow and it looks like we'll get most of the day in so we will be there! NEW this week; a small selection of fresh vegetable and melons! We will have roma tomatoes @ 2 for $1.00, cucumbers @ $1.00 each., small kohlrabi @ $2.00 each, sweet onions @ $1.00 each, small seedless watermelons @ $6.00 each, and cantaloupe @ $3.00 each. Please come early as we don't have a lot. Also new is CHOKECHERRY JELLY and fresh cheese curds! All this plus our usual wares.

I know it's only Thursday but just letting everyone know that the market will be open this Saturday, August 2nd from 8-1. We have all of your usual staples like honey, maple syrup, wild rice, popcorn, chaga and leaves for tea, reishi, homemade dog treats, and catnip. New this week is FIREWEED SYRUP, we had jelly last time. Many pickled items and other jams and jellies too. Barry may have some farm fresh eggs but you have to get there early!

Happy Friday everyone! The market will be open tomorrow from 8-1 (WEATHER PERMITTING) I will post tomorrow morning if things change and we don't come. New this week is FIREWEED JELLY! Also new are homemade dog treats and catnip. We always have our usual variety of canned goods along with honey, maple syrup, wild rice, chaga and leaves for tea. Where else would you find porcupine quill earrings or a purse or rattle made from a turtle shell? Stop in and say HI!
