Here is what's happening at Piermont's Farmers Market Sunday 5/24 (10AM - 3PM) in Flywheel Park. Come on out early as the weather is not going to be great and we may decide to pack up earlier than usual!

Vendor Spotlight: Flowering Sun Ecology Center is a Certified Organic regenerative farm and educational center based in Ellenville, NY, on the edge of the Catskill Park. They grow a diverse selection of vegetables, gourmet mushrooms, fruits, herbs, microgreens, and specialty crops using regenerative and no-till farming practices that focus on living soil, biodiversity, and nutrient-dense food. All of the products they grow on the farm are USDA Certified Organic, and many are also Real Organic Project certified (a much higher standard than USDA).

In addition to their cultivated produce and mushrooms, they work with trusted foragers across the country to source sustainably harvested wild mushrooms and plants from the Northeast and Pacific Northwest, depending on the season. They also offer a selection of value-added mushroom products and healthy mushroom-based drink mixes. "Our goal is to grow and share food in a way that supports the health of the land, the local community, and a more regenerative food system".

VENDOR SPOTLIGHT: FLOWERING SUN ECOLOGY CENTER
Flowering Sun joined our market this past winter selling mushrooms & tinctures. They recently added organic veggies to their mix of offerings and we are thrilled to have them as part of our farmers market family. Learn more about them below.

Flowering Sun Ecology Center is a Certified Organic regenerative farm and educational center based in Ellenville, NY, on the edge of the Catskill Park.
