Many Ohio farmers markets accept food assistance benefits such as Ohio Direction Card, Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program, and Women Infants and Children. One of our food safety specialists hosted a series of virtual webinars aimed at answering some commonly asked questions about important considerations.

While the webinars were previously recorded, the information is still important and relevant. These recorded webinars focus on:

I love to talk farmer markets 😊

Farms large and small are an important part of Ohio's economy. One place where some farmers promote their business and sell their products are local community farmers markets.

We talked about the economics of Farmers’ Markets. Plus we learned about getting fresh produce to underserved communities.
