Blooming Farmstand

Thank you to everyone that has supported my new endeavor. It has been a learning curve. I am used to getting plants for myself and family for the end of May. I will have to start more flowers earlier next winter for Mother’s Day. Hopefully the weather will be a little nicer next year as well. I am going to start setting out vegetable starts that I have. I have early girl tomatoes and better boys. I have a few bird house gourds at the stand as well as onions and celery. I have a few more flower starts going out at the stand.

We had a very busy weekend. We put the finishing touches on both farmstands, moved them into place, and stocked them. We appreciate Fair Shake for all of their support and encouragement. The next stressor is getting ready for Mother’s Day.

Thank you to Mr. Brightman’s class for completing my new farmstand. Now, I just have to fill it.

We had a busy week putting some of the plants in the new greenhouse and making items to sell at the farmstand.

The tiny petunia seeds got me. I have petunias everywhere. I have petunias over here, over there, and even behind here.

Our kitchen is filled with the aromas of a natural bug spray. I hope others like it as much as I do.

I have been working on getting non-plant items ready for when I open the farmstand. This weekend is lip balm and drying fruits for simmer pots.
