We’re a family of five living a simple, faith-filled life just off the Alabama River Parkway. Rooted in our love for God, family, and the land, we’re excited to share a little piece of our farm with you. At Barnes Family Farm, we:
• Train horses and offer beginner horseback riding lessons
• Raise happy chickens and will soon provide farm fresh eggs daily
• Grow delicious produce like peas, toma

toes, squash, and okra
• Offer U-Pick blueberries—and they’re almost ready!
• Sell painted gourds for birds and beautiful ferns and flowers for your porch
Whether you’re stopping by for fresh veggies, planning a day in the blueberry patch, picking out a porch fern, or riding with us in the arena, we’re so happy to welcome you. From our family to yours—welcome to the farm!

Yesterday we kicked off the season with a great dove hunt, good friends, plenty of laughs, and even a few little boys who decided the mud was just as much fun as the hunting. 😂🤎

It was a great hunt, but the fellowship was even better. Days like this are what it’s all about—good friends, making memories, and enjoying a little piece of country life together.

We’re thankful for everyone who came out and helped make opening day one for the books!

My new-to-me OLD house came with a few… interesting extras. 👀😂 So naturally, I had to ask the kids what they thought about them and what we should do with them.

Elizabeth apparently already has it all figured out — she said, “probably gonna sell them at the store next week.” 🤣🤣

I guess when your family owns a farm store, everything has potential inventory!

My family has been working, planning, growing, and dreaming up so many fun things for our 2nd Annual Barnes Family Farm Pumpkin Patch, and we can hardly believe we’re only 31 DAYS AWAY! 🧡

Last year was just the beginning, and this year we’re bringing even MORE to the farm! We’ve got new things in the works, special events coming, and plenty of good old-fashioned fall fun for the whole family. 🌾🎃
