Library Update: Readying for Renovations

As many of you know, the library has been closed for the last several months as we assess structural issues regarding the library building. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working hard on a plan for reopening.

With the help of a local structural engineer and Bedminster Township officials, we have determined that the building will need a new foundation and flooring, renovations of the supporting walls and a new roof. We hope to have structural building plans finalized by the end of the year.

We continue to staff the library on Tuesdays and Thursdays for curbside service from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. allowing patrons to pick up holds and other library materials, and return books. Our outside book return is always open.

This library is a nonprofit and does not receive any county, state or federal funding and every staff member is a dedicated volunteer, so costs are kept low. We need the communities help to enable us to do the necessary renovations for the library to be able to continue to serve you for many years to come. We welcome any monetary donations toward the renovation work. You can drop your donation off during our Tuesday/Thursday hours, or mail your check to:

Due to our building safety issues, we continue to have to be closed to the public coming inside the building.
However, we are open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00am - 6:00pm for backdoor (pull into the parking lot in back) pickup and drop off. We still have the courier coming on those days so we are able to process holds.
The outdoor book return is available and we are backdating all materials to the last day we were open.
We are sorry for the inconvenience and are working hard to figure out what we can do to save the building and make it safe once again.

We are open Tuesday/Thursday 10-6, Wednesday/Friday 3-5 and Saturday 10-1.
