From the bottom of my heart I want to thank everyone who has walked through these doors to support Donatell’s through the years. A special Thank You to all who have worked here, and a VERY SPECIAL Thank You to Sandy, Chrissy, Linda, Emily and Linda who stayed with me until the end. It’s been an honor and pleasure to serve the Bloomfield Community. I appreciate all of your kind words and well wishes, it means a lot to me. I will miss all of you.

Saturday, August 6th will be our last day open for business. Thank you again for an amazing 90 years! We are truly thankful for all of our customers and employees over the years!

Donatelli’s Italian Food Center to close after 90 years of service to the Bloomfield community. Below is a message from owner Russell Donatelli.

“Unfortunately, we have been unable to find someone to buy our business and continue the tradition of serving the people of Bloomfield and greater Pittsburgh area our delicious homemade Italian food. Therefore, we will be closing our doors in the coming weeks. We will still be making homemade pasta, raviolis, sausage, and biscotti until we close the doors, which is anticipated to be sometime in August. On behalf of the Donatelli family and all our current and past employees, I would like to thank you for your support of our store over the years.”
