If you had to guess, how many markets do you think we have left in the summer season?

Twelve is correct. Very good

We couldn’t have made this season happen without our sweet wonderful sponsors, including Resnick Roofing & Contracting. Just look at that roofery and then tell me you don’t feel something

We also could not have done it without the support of customers who gave to our donation board so that their neighbors could get tokens to use at the market. The board has run a bit dry and so hasn’t been out lately. Please consider making a donation at the link in our bio Not to sound like an NPR pledge drive, but these gifts are literally making the difference between whether people have food on the table

One last thing. The Department of City Planning invites residents, community organizations, businesses, and stakeholders from all 90 neighborhoods to join us this September for a series of public workshops as the PGH2050 Comprehensive Plan reaches one of its most important milestones

Over the past two years, PGH2050 has been driven by Pittsburghers. Thousands of people have participated through neighborhood meetings, surveys, focus groups, community events, and online engagement, helping create a shared vision for the city's future.
The September workshops will be one of the final opportunities for residents and stakeholders to provide critical feedback on the draft plan before revisions are applied and the plan moves into the approval and adoption process

We’re officially halfway through the market this year, but still enjoying the gentle caresses of peak produce season. Soon the leaves will change, and those gentle caresses will turn sexual. It is not reciprocated, so we will spend the rest of the year attempting to put some distance between us and peak produce, avoiding their eyes at shows. That is what causes seasons

Tomorrow we’ll have Yegakimchi Choi, Music Meadows, Slice and Sprout, Trash Cat Rescue, Fourth Economy, and someone from the city’s recycling department on hand to answer questions. Wow! What a lineup

Yegakimchi Choi, Lemmon Bros (new maple syrup vendor), Music Meadows (also new, with hardneck garlic), All Things Empanada, & Metro Community Health Center will all be there tomorrow

Well, we're doing it. Tomorrow is our one day summer residency at West Penn Hospital, and after that we'll all be doctors

It'll be 9am-1pm, like normal. If you can't find us, just search for Mend Way. Due to the inaccessibility of our temporary space, we'll have volunteers available to help people shop. The porta potties will be joining us, of course

This is going to be a wacky one. Picking up an entire farmers market and dropping it a block away is not something we expected to do, but here we are. And soon you will be here too

The August 1st market will be held at two adjoining lots on Corday Way between Gross Street and Millvale

HOW DO I GET THERE?
Just get on Gross Street and walk/drive/roll until you see a farmers market, or type “Mend Way” into your GPS. If you hit Friendship Park, you’ve gone too far

WHERE DO I PARK?
You can park in the garage at the corner of Millvale and Liberty, or in the Aspen Garage where people usually park for the market. Please do not park on Mend Way

IS IT ACCESSIBLE?
It is not an accessible space. There is grass, gravel, and slanted or uneven ground everywhere, and there are no parking spots nearby. There was no workaround for this, and we are deeply sorry. However, we will have people available to help with shopping for folks who can’t utilize the space, so please ask anyone in an orange vest or a volunteer shirt and they will assist you
