The Pittsfield Farmers Market, powered by Roots Rising, is the first teen-run market in the region! Shoppers will find fresh, local and seasonal fruits, vegetables, meat, eggs, cheese, baked goods, coffee, flowers, art, and more. And with live music, chef demos, workshops and children's activities, we are more than a market! Find us from 9am to 1pm in The Common, every Saturday, May through October and at Zion Lutheran Church, each second Saturday of the month, November through April.

📣 Vendor Spotlight: Mountain Girl Farm

Mountain Girl Farm has been part of the Pittsfield Farmers Market for years, and their customers come back week after week.

A farm based in North Adams, they raise livestock while also running a full farm kitchen that produces some of the Market’s most-loved products. We're talking jams, jellies, pickled vegetables, fresh seasonal produce, goat milk soap, baked goods... and the goat cheese. Ahh, the goat cheese! If you haven't tried it yet, keep your eyes peeled for when they have it in stock!

But what really sets Jen apart is the way she shows up for her community. She partners with local senior centers to bring her farm's goodness to people who can't always make it to the Market. She remembers what her customers love, fulfills special requests whenever she can, and makes sure everyone leaves her booth feeling cared for.

Stop by Mountain Girl Farm this Saturday and stock up on something delicious!

📣 Vendor Spotlight: Breadnik

Rachel at Breadnik just joined us this July, and she’s already one of the most anticipated booths at our Market!

Her story is as rich as her bread and brownies. What started as a Ukrainian food pop-up at the Queens International Night Market in 2021, grew into something meaningful and unique. Rachel’s goods are rooted in her heritage: in the family recipes she recorded visiting her grandparents in New Jersey to the hours spent learning to make cold borscht, blintzes, pelmeni, and cranberry strudel from scratch. Every product she brings carries a story with it.

Rachel bakes out of Ground Up in Holyoke, where she also works, using locally grown and milled flour to create country sourdough boules, poppy seed bread, brioche, cardamom apricot buns, brownies, blintzes, pelmeni, black tea, and more. Many of her breads are made with a unique blend of excess flours collected during the mill’s transitions between grains, a sustainable practice that reduces waste while creating distinctive, flavorful loaves.

She sells out early, and for good reason!

📣 Vendor Spotlight: Crabapple Farm

This is Crabapple Farm’s fifth season at the Pittsfield Farmers Market, and if you’ve been shopping with us for a while, you already know that their booth feels just like home.

Rachel, Travis, and Julie have one of the most loyal customer bases we’ve ever seen. People come to the Market specifically for Crabapple Farm, and once you’ve shopped with them, you’ll understand why.

They bring a full and ever-changing spread of seasonal vegetables, herbs, plants, and seedlings, week after week, rain or shine.

Crabapple Farm is one of our most consistent and generous donors to our Giving Table, which collects fresh food at the Market and donates it directly to local food pantries. Five seasons of showing up for their customers and for this community.
