Welcoming Our 2026 Board of Directors

We’re thrilled to introduce the newest members of the Placerville Food Co-op Board of Directors: Jaclynn Grover, Patrick O’Connor, Margaret Bishop,
and Nancy Duenkel. We’re also pleased to celebrate the re-election of our current Board President, Ben Hansen.

New members will be sworn in at the Board meeting on Wednesday, May 27th. We extend our sincere gratitude to all candidates for their dedication to our cooperative community.

BECOME A PFC BOARD MEMBER
APPLICATIONS DUE TOMORROW, APRIL 30th

We're looking for passionate PFC Owners to run for a seat on our Board of Directors.

Why serve?
As a Board Member, you'll help define the Co-op's vision, protect its long-term health, and ensure it continues to serve our community for generations to come. It's meaningful work with real impact. And yes — it's also fun.

Who we're looking for:
Ideal candidates are PFC Owners who care deeply about food systems, equity, and the cooperative model.

This May, we're electing Board Members to serve 3-year terms.

Board Member Commitments:

~Prepare for and attend monthly Board and Owner Meetings
(4th Wednesday of each month, 6:30 pm — Co-op Community Room or Patio)
~Participate in Board training sessions
~Serve on at least one committee
~Familiarize yourself with Co-op Bylaws, Policies, and Financial Statements
~Maintain active ownership in good standing
