The last flush of strawberries are ripening in this heat and it is almost time to begin the renovation process. We will be open for our final U-Pick day of the season on Saturday, July 4th from 8am-1pm.

Now is the time to clean out the patch and get all of your processing projects done and so we are putting a sale on bulk quantities: if you pick 10lbs or more of strawberries, we will drop the price to $4/lb!

Thank you all for joining us this season. We've been through frosts, rains, heat waves, and picture perfect days this strawberry season. It's been great fun to have you all out to the farm. We have already set in motion plans to expand the patch next year!

U-Pick, organic Strawberries in Plainfield, VT

With some warm dry weather and the strawberries at peak production, this is going to be the best week for coming out to pick your own!

Finally! The weather appears to be breaking up into some truly sunny warm days this week. This will likely be the peak of abundance for fruit. For this upcoming week, the tentative plan is to be OPEN EVERYDAY FROM 4pm-7pm OR Call to make an appointment for other times. The evening is a lovely time on the farm, the berries are usually dry (which helps with shelf life) and this schedule will allow the farmers to get a few other things done. Happy Father's Day! YES - we are OPEN

The deluge of strawberries is as relentless as the rains. Fortunately, the heaviest rains have missed us and so the fruit quality is still great. We will be open today from 9am-7pm so long as the storms hold off.

We will be OPEN Friday, June 19th from 10am - whenever it rains!

After a bit of luck yesterday, the strawberry patch got a good rain without sustaining any much damage. A steady breeze this morning is drying things out, giving us a good window to pick before the next wave of storms and the patch is LOADED. The next few days look... questionable. There's a chance of rain/storms at all times for the next few days. We will continue to monitor and look for opportunities to open when we can, but today seems like your best bet!

Strawberry season is coming in hot this year!

Fresh picked flats are headed to Plainfield Co-op Hunger Mountain Co-op and Fox Market this morning. We will be open for PYO days whenever the weather allows - starting today! We are located just a mile outside of Plainfield village at 989 Maple Hill Rd. Our strawberries ar certified organic and grown in the traditional matted row on straw style. $5/lb for PYO, $54/flat for pre-picked

Our spring seedling sale opens this weekend!

Get the garden season started with certified organic vegetable and annual flower starts. We are open 9am-1pm Saturdays and Sundays, located just a mile outside Plainfield village at 989 Maple Hill Rd.

This weekend, cold-hardy plants like onions, leeks, broccoli, cabbages, lettuces, and violas are at peak condition for transplanting. Tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, and other frost-sensitive plants are available, but are timed to be truly ready in another couple of weeks when the weather (hopefully??) warms up. We also have beautifully blooming petunia hanging baskets - perfect for Mother's Day.

Memorial Day Weekend is the traditional time to plant out your summer garden. With a mild, wet start to next week and soils well warmed from this previous week, I'd say the timing couldn't be better. We have loads of healthy, vigorous tomatoes, peppers, eggplants and flowers ready to go. Our second round of cabbages, broccoli, kale and onions are also here for those of you just getting going. The petunia hanging baskets are in full bloom too!

All certified organic and grown from seed right here on the farm.

We will be open Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 9am-2pm. Hope to see you there!
