Carol and Bruce work with a flock of 80 ewes and have 140 lambs each year. Committed to regenerative practices, they grow and harvest much of the hay needed to feed the flock and use a combination of local fields to sustain grazing the flock.

This week we’re featuring Oliver and Coraline Metcalf of Plainfield Village Popsicles.

“As residents of Plainfield Village, we enjoyed hanging out at the market and then decided it would be fun to vend and be a bigger part of the market. We make and sell something we like and are now a small youth-led business selling popsicles to our neighbors”.

Oliver and Coraline make homemade popsicles with local or organic fresh fruit only sweetened with maple syrup and honey. Favorite flavors include mango, peach mango, golden Marsala chai, watermelon lemonade, hibiscus berry, strawberry rhubarb, and chocolate peanut butter, to name many of the favorites. Flavors vary what ingredients are available seasonally and this fall they will offer sweet potato and apple pie popsicles.
