As for milking this morning… let’s just say it was definitely a learning experience. 😂 Between figuring out what I’m doing and convincing mama to cooperate, it wasn’t exactly a picture-perfect first attempt. But every day is progress, and we’re learning together!

Who else remembers their first time milking a goat? Any tips are welcome! 🥛✨

For everyone who liked, shared, commented, or reached out about wanting to come experience Bailey Homestead with us… THANK YOU. 🥹❤️ It truly means so much seeing so many people excited about learning, connecting, and getting hands-on with homestead life alongside our family.

As I start planning out these experiences, classes, projects, animal interactions, garden learning, and all the fun little homestead moments in between… I would LOVE to hear from y’all!

Today we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave everything for our freedom. We’re beyond grateful for the life we get to build here — slow mornings, farm chores, family time, and all the beautiful chaos that comes with this little homestead life. 🐓🌿

Slowly but surely Bailey Homestead keeps growing 🥹❤️

Our new little pasture area is finally coming together and it already has me dreaming BIG.

From recycled materials, long days outside, learning as we go, and building this life piece by piece… it’s becoming something so special for our family AND our community. ❤️

A simple little fenced pasture today… future animals, learning experiences, homestead memories, and so much more tomorrow.

Every project around here starts with a vision, hard work, and a whole lotta ‘let’s figure it out’ energy 😂

We’re getting there one fence post at a time!
