Our dear, sweet Daniel had his last day here at 5AF on Thursday. He and his beautiful wife, Chloe, will be moving to NWA to start their new farm and adventure. We have loved having him here for the past 4.5 years and will miss him so. We are so excited to see how and what they will grow!!

Let's feature another business we work with! Today is . Guys, Matt and his crew know what they are doing (check out reviews if you don't believe me). We started working with KnightFire this year. The business started out as a food truck but moved into a brick and mortar at 304 South Main St. They feature all the typical bbq favorites: brisket, chicken, and pork, and a few specials (the house made sausages 🤌🏼). While meat is the focus, salad and other vegetables do make appearances. The menu is simple but so well done!

KnightFire is open Wednesday-Saturday at 10:30 but definitely check out their social medias for closing because they sell out! They offer dine-in, takeout, and delivery through DoorDash or Meals Now. You have until the 20th to order for Thanksgiving.

Today's featured business is The Natural Food Store in Searcy! After some discussion, we're pretty sure they are the first business we started working with. NFS was opened in 1991 and has been supplying the community with healthy foods, herbs, supplements and other health products. The Natural Food Store houses several businesses under one roof- Squizitos Olive Oils and Vinegars, Specialtea Kombucha Bar (Teaberry Kombucha), Julie Jones (esthetician), Hannah Elliott (massage), and Eric McMullen (nutrition counseling). They are also our CSA/orders drop site and have a selection of our produce in their coolers.

Stop by and see these sweet people and grab something you can feel good about!

Happy Friday!! We're going to kick off with the restaurant we most recently started working with, ! Big's has been on Main St. in Batesville since 2014 but recently moved to 231 E Main. It's a larger space where they have music on Friday nights.
They serve a wide variety of sandwiches, salads, and Cajun specials. (We can't wait to try the Cajun cabbage!! Also, the boudain 🤌🏼, so good!!) Sherry and crew also offer catering and are taking orders for the holidays, both of which feature our produce.
Y'all go check them out and just hang out on Main St. It has some of the coolest shops and businesses!!

The last of the summer vegetables were taken out of the tunnel this morning and the beds turned over for winter greens. Winter growing is a bit of a learning curve but every year we have gotten better at it! Greens are grown in the tunnels and roots stored in the cooler through the coldest months.
