It comes with a very heavy heart to inform you all that Lou Ratsos, one of the owners of Plymouth Prime Meats, has unexpectedly passed away and has been welcomed into Gods arms yesterday morning.
Lou may not have always been the first face you saw when you walked in the doors, but without him, the last five years wouldnโt have been made possible. He was the fixer of broken things, the organizer of chaos, the brains behind the books, and the leader we all relied on.
For those of you who had the privilege to have met him, you would have immediately recognized his passion in connecting with everyone he came across. For those of you who havenโt, Lou was a kind, caring, passionate, intelligent man. A loving father of two and a husband to a wife who he loved with all of his heart. Nancy was his queen.
Lou was a man who would give you the shirt off his back, talk to you about the deep meanings of life, music, art, travel, his family and friends, and one of his top favoritesโฆFOOD! In his words, โhis tapeworm was always hungryโ!
Lou loved Plymouth Prime Meats and every one of our customers. Every positive quality he had was poured into making Plymouth Prime Meats a successful business.
You were one hell of a friend, and on behalf of those who knew you best, I can say that life wonโt be the same without you. We will grieve your loss deeply and honor you by continuing on as you would have wished for us to do. We love you Lou, until we meet again! God bless you and your family.
