It’s spring time and that means that turtles are out and about in our neighborhoods. NECWA interns and staff are walking beaches and fields to study and rescue local turtles, including box turtles. The box turtle is the only terrestrial turtle native to New England. They have a domed shell that is dark in color but often has vibrant splashes of color, including yellows, oranges and reds. Stop by the NECWA educational table to learn more about box turtles and the other turtles species that call southern New England home.

*Jewelweed soap is a highly requested item to soothe poison ivy and plant contact irritation.
*The Works soap bar is formulated with Neem oil and Tea tree for red itchy skin. (Our best seller. )
*Magnesium Cream is micro batched to insure a smooth pleasing feel and scented with lavender. Many customers reach for this after a workout and at night. (We sold out last week. )
*The Salt and Silk body oil smells amazing with a fresh blend of essential oils and is perfect to prep body, face and hair for the summer sun.

Each of these products are small or micro batched with botanical oils and only beneficial ingredients. Come by and meet me, Mary, the maker! See you at the market!

The pollen is poppin’ and the bees are hoppin’! We are excited to bring this year’s spring honey to the market this week as well as some of our June harvest.

Haley’s Hens & Honey is a very small and very local (Kingston!) apiary garden. Our flowers and produce are pollinated by our bees and fertilized by our hens. We are committed to being good stewards of the land and providing quality and sustainable products. Our offerings will vary week to week depending on what is in bloom and ready to harvest. We are excited to share our garden with you!
