How it started:
In 2012 Ronn bought Jamie a small quantity of Zinfandel in a rain sale with the idea that she wanted to start building her own dream🍇 This began a long series of decisions about winery names, tasting room locations, labels and more. They eventually fell in love with the name Prospect Cellars, a perfect fit to tie in the Gold Rush history of our community!
Since the start Jamie strongly believed in putting her business on Main St. in Plymouth, and being part of the revitalization of the town she grew up in and loved. This landed them in Plymouth’s original post office. With a lot of elbow grease and hard work the Lubenko family turned this aged building into a charming tasting room, and opened in March of 2015!
For 7 years Prospect Cellars has opened its doors to the local community, friends, family and numerous wine country visitors, including travelers from all over the world; hosting a multitude of wine events, farm to fork dinners, community fundraisers, music nights, farmers markets and much more. Over the years we have shared wine, stories and laughter across the tasting room bar🍷
This weekend we raise our glass to the Dreamers, Risk Takers, and Prospectors in all of us!
